“He’s controlled like a puppet. So it’s not going to be calm… They will have taken over your cities. It’s a revolution. You understand that. It is a revolution and the people of this country will not stand it.
According to Trump, the funding for the “revolution” comes from “very stupid rich people who have no idea that if their thing were to succeed, which it won’t, they would be cast out like never before.”
On Monday, Biden accused Trump of further dividing the protesting nation rather than unifying it and his words and messages sowed chaos rather than law and order.
Biden’s remarks came after Trump and many Republicans repeatedly criticized him and the Democrats for failing to speak out against the three-month campaign of violence waged by the Antifa and Black Lives Matter movements in the states and cities ruled by Democrats.
Republicans said Democrats in those jurisdictions were trying to score political points in an election year by allowing violent protests and riots and by refusing the federal help Trump offered to quell the unrest.
Protests against police brutality and racism began in many cities across the United States following the death of African American George Floyd in custody in Minneapolis on May 25.
The protests turned into riots accompanied by violence against police and civilians, as well as arson and destruction.
