Real Madrid turn around on Dani Ceballos stay at Arsenal

 

Real Madrid turned around in midfield, ’ stay at Arsenal.

Zinedine Zidane’s side initially wanted Ceballos to extend his loan at Arsenal, but the Real Madrid hierarchy now want to keep the Spaniard for his pre-season campaign instead of loaning to the Gunners again.

Ceballos impressed in his Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and ended his one-season loan by helping Arsenal beat Chelsea at Wembley to win the FA Cup on August 1.

Arteta has made it clear that he wants the 24-year-old to stay at Emirates for another season after forming a strong midfielder partnership with Granit Xhaka during the Premier League restart.

However, according to Spanish newspaper AS, the La Liga champions have now reconsidered the future of Ceballos after his impressive performances for Arteta’s side.

Madrid bosses are confident Ceballos become a regular on the first team Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Ceballos has since informed Real Madrid that he will stay at the Bernabeu and accept a partial role Zidane.
