Don Jazzy Pens Tribute to Dr Stella, the Nigerian doctor who died fighting Ebola

Mavin boss Don Jazzy wrote a tribute to Dr Stella, the Nigerian doctor who died fighting Ebola in 2014.

Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh died that day in 2014. She had never seen Ebola before, but was able to diagnose and contain Nigeria’s very first Ebola patient, Patrick Sawyer, in quarantine. 6 years after his death, Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn his death, and Don Jazzy has not been outdone.

Speaking to his Twitter page, he wrote: “We lost one of Nigeria’s best and brave doctors, Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, that day in 2014. She was one of the frontline doctors who helped stem the spread of the epidemic of Ebola in Nigeria. Life-threatening roles will always be remembered. R.I.P Heroine.
