Three soldiers and a vigilante were reportedly killed during an operation to rescue a Chinese national and his driver kidnapped by unidentified armed men in Yakila, in the Rafi region, in Niger state.
The Chinese expatriate and his driver were abducted from a construction company in the Yakila region a few weeks ago.
