This is because most women end up engaging in self-medication and treatment for illnesses which are not real illnesses but natural events in their body which cannot be cured but managed.

Most women go through menopause between the ages of 45 and 55. It can also occur in women a little earlier or later than the period prescribed above.

However, it is accompanied by certain signs or symptoms which may be mistaken for symptoms of other common illnesses such as typhoid or malaria.

It is important that every woman knows the symptoms and signs of menopause. In order to avoid self-medication.

Perimenopause occurs before menopause. Perimenopause is a time when your hormones start to change in preparation for menopause. During perimenopause, periods become irregular.
