On Friday, the Kwara State government confirmed the resignation of former Special Tasks Commissioner Hajia Aisha Ahman Pategi.
In a two paragraph statement to Ilorin, State Communications Commissioner Afolabi Oshatimehin said: “The government has received the resignation of Honorable Aisha Ahman Pategi, who was the former Commissioner for Special Functions.
“The government accepts the same and wishes him the best in his future endeavors,” the statement added.
Ontopnaija recalls that the former commissioner for special tasks resigned on Friday.
Aisha, in a statement announcing her resignation, said: “I Aisha Ahman Pategi, the outgoing Commissioner for Special Duties, as of today Friday August 28, 2020, humbly wish to announce my resignation from the cabinet of His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. ”
She thanked Almighty God, for giving her the grace and opportunity to serve as Commissioner for Local Government and Chiefdom Affairs and now exciting as Commissioner for Special Tasks, serving my fellow Kwarans and representative the local government of Pategi in our effort to improve the lot of the Kwarans.
Aisha, upon establishment of the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, was appointed Commissioner for Local Government and Chiefdom Affairs, before her redeployment to the Ministry of Special Tasks following a minor cabinet reshuffle by the Governor of the ‘State.
