Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta gave the latest updates on offers from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Aubameyang, who has one year left on his current contract, is expected to sign a three-year extension.
The Gunners are also set to close a 27m contract for Magalhaes, who will join Lille.
Arteta, speaking to the media ahead of this weekend’s Community Shield game against Liverpool, expressed his optimism for the pair.
On Aubameyang, he said, “I continue to be positive. We are having very good discussions with him and his agents and I am sure that we will find an agreement soon. This is my feeling.
He added on Magalhaes: “When we get it [done], I will be very happy. He is a player that we followed and we were determined to be the right profile for us to improve our team. If we manage to finalize it, we will be delighted.
