Wenger offers to leave FIFA for new coaching position

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has offered his services to the Dutch Football Association (KNVB), to replace Ronald Koeman, expected to be named Barcelona’s new manager, reports the UK Mirror.

Wenger is currently working as FIFA’s Global Football Development Manager.

This is the Frenchman’s job since leaving the Gunners May 2018.

However, Wenger has since teased a return to the dugout and may now be ready to try international football.

If his offer is accepted, Wenger would be charge of the Dutch campaign for Euro 2021, where they could clash his native France or even England.

Koeman is almost certain to succeed Quique Setien, sacked on Monday, days after a humiliating 82 defeat to Bayern Munich the Champions League.
