Real Madrid turn around on Dani Ceballos stay at Arsenal

 

Real Madrid turned around in midfield, Dani Ceballos’ stay at Arsenal.

Zinedine Zidane’s side initially wanted Ceballos to extend loan at Arsenal, but the Real Madrid hierarchy now want to keep the Spaniard for pre-season campaign instead of loaning him to the Gunners again.

Ceballos impressed in final months under manager Mikel Arteta and ended one-season loan by helping beat Chelsea at Wembley to win the FA Cup on August 1.

Arteta has made it clear that he wants the 24-year-old to stay at Emirates for another season after forming a strong midfielder partnership with Granit Xhaka during the Premier League restart.

However, according to Spanish newspaper AS, the La Liga champions now reconsidered the future of Ceballos after impressive performances for Arteta’s side.

Madrid bosses are Ceballos can become a regular on the first team under Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Ceballos has since informed Real Madrid that he not stay at the Bernabeu and accept a partial role under Zidane.
