The incident resulted in the death of the 20-year-old fashion designer.
Police public relations officer SP Yemisi Opalola in a statement Sunday said Egharevbe “will be charged with murder on Monday”.
Egharevbe was attached to the Obokun Divisional Police Station.
Opalola warned that the police would not tolerate any act of indiscipline, brutality or unprofessional behavior.
“CP Adie and the entire Osun Police Command sympathize with Ayomide Taiwo’s family and friends on the death of their loved one, as we have pledged to ensure that justice is served,” said she declared.
Popoola Adebayo, the deceased boss, confirmed that Ayomide has remained unconscious since the attack.
